Verizon Galaxy Nexus release date gets another rumor

December 9 is the new rumored date surrounding the new Galaxy Nexus adding that Verizon will also launch a new Motorola Droid smartphone.

Yet another Verizon Wireless Galaxy Nexus release date rumor to serve you, and this time, the rumor is pointing to December 9 alongside a new Droid from Motorola Mobility.

According to a report posted by Droid Life, December 9 release date is now possible. the site is claiming that anonymous sources are claiming that on Friday, Verizon will launch the first Galaxy Nexus variant with Long Term Evolution, and new smartphones like the Motorola Droid 4 will arrive on December 22, and a white Droid Razr is reportedly hitting the store shelves in mid December. the report also added that a new Motorola tablet is also expected to arrive this month, the Motorola XYBoard.

Apparently, last week’s reports have suggested that the device may land after December 11 after a Best buy document was leaked online with a print saying that the first Galaxy Nexus Verizon stocks next Sunday. Verizon loves to release new phones every Thursday, so we need to take the new rumor with a grain of salt because December 9 is Friday.

The Samsung Galaxy Nexus is now available in other countries, and some third-party retailers are already offering the unlocked HSPA+ variant. many believe that the phone is “delayed” due to the volume bug and the lack of Adobe Flash support. Samsung already confirmed that a software update will arrive (and now arriving according to some owners) this week to address the issue.

In other countries, third-party retailers are already offering Galaxy Nexus accessories, including the desk dock that will tap the power of the pogo pin of the new device.
